I bought these for my son who is 2 years old. He's very clumsy, and I say with all the love a mother can muster, but he IS. Ordinary shoes only made him clumsy, but he went barefoot a lot. I had to find something better for him than just socks as he loses them very easily, so this is the perfect solution for us. They're as warm, snuggly and inviting as socks and of course lightweight. However, the soles are as strong as shoes. They fit like a glove so my son runs like crazy it doesn't feel tight at all and his feet stay covered. but then again i also have a boy with bigger than average feet which might make me say that. But really! If you have a troubled child, it's worth every penny and then some. Also a great seller and great customer service, this part never hurts either.
