I don't want to rate this product unfairly. These are reliable shoes. Good quality product from Unfortunately I sprained my ankle twice and broke my foot the first time I wore it. Some may say this is my problem. I don't tend to twist my ankle and it didn't feel like I was on a very difficult trail. I felt it was pretty easy to twist my ankle. Personally though, I wouldn't buy them again and would opt for something with a slightly higher top to give me more ankle support. Overall, my struggles with these issues seem to be more my own than anyone else's, so everyone's experiences will be different. In terms of quality, these are reliable shoes.
