The reason for 3 stars is simple. It works very well on some planes and not at all on others. If your plane has an adjustable headrest (like most long-haul planes), it will fit. If you're on a smaller plane without an adjustable headrest, all you have is a blindfold. As others have pointed out, it takes a bit of work to get it working. For me, I've found that the "number of eight" method works. I extended the cable to its maximum length and then created a "figure eight" out of the loop. Each side of the figure eight curves around the headrest. I found that if I just tried wrapping it around the headrest it would slip off. Once I got it working I thought it worked really well. I placed a pillow under my neck and strapped my head in the perfect position to keep my neck from getting sore.
