Review on Panasonic RF 2400 AM Radio Silver by Julian Perkins

Bought for my 96 year old mother. It was the only radio she had in the last 10 years that got a good AM signal even during the day! Good FM reception, even in their metal clad camper van. We live in a very rural area with a few strong local stations and the rest far away and this radio has no overlap issues and picks up many stations that previous radios couldn't. The sound quality is very good - just like the $80 radio she tried a while back. Overall, this radio beats the $80 radio in many ways, most notably reception, and is very easy to use even for a 96 year old. This is the radio that my mom dreamed of for a long time, but we didn't know about! We tried so many others and they were all pretty rubbish no matter the price. This is one that stands out and I'm SO glad I found it so my mom can enjoy listening to the radio again!
