I have 50mm 1.8. I came to the conclusion that by the time my son was born, I needed to purchase a sabzhe glass. This is due to the fact that I anticipated more speed from him (children are active; you have to keep up!), sharpness, and that the aperture ratio will not be superfluous. I tried it out on several targets in the store, and since everything appears to be in working order, I purchased it. It focuses quite rapidly, but the shot is rarely successful; you need an object with a lot of contrast (it will hit exactly, but there will be chromaticity). Via the viewfinder, it did not work for me; however, in life view with the magic lantern firmware, you can point exactly where you want; yet, I somehow ceased feeling the advantage in speed compared to the 50mm 1.8. Right away, there was cause for skepticism. I'm not going to bring up the fact that getting into the object at 1.4 is a bit of a challenge since I won't. I took facial portraits at a setting of 1.8, which resulted in quite a bit of sharpness but was not excessively expensive; as they say, it was no better than a fifty dollar 50mm 1.8. Yet, while maintaining the same apertures, it is lighter. The difference becomes less noticeable when more of the aperture is covered. These lenses produce the same amount of blur when used at the same distances from the object and with the same apertures. I didn't even use Sharp before him; but, I did so when he introduced me to it. And our experience with him came to an end when he fell to the ground and jammed; he did not wait for the package that included the lens hood and the filters. The cost of repair is equal to that of a new lens. I decided - no! She went out like a lion! It's a good thing I didn't sell the 50mm 1.8 lens as I intended to in the beginning! If you ask me, glass that is not made obvious for what and for whom should not be purchased, and my judgment has been developed accordingly. Someone thinks it's important that I have a 550D. P.S. I have one.
