These bandanas (size L) fit my smaller golden retriever perfectly. For reference, it weighs less than 70 pounds with an 18 inch neck. I think the overall weight of the dog is less important than the weight distribution. I had enough room to tie them in a knot, but if your dog has a narrow neck (over 20 inches) this product is not for you. One bandana arrived with a frayed edge and I have yet to wash one of these. I don't expect them to last forever but for the price it was a solid buy.
