I bought this to put my laptop on a desk so I can work while standing at a desk. I looked everywhere for a tray table that was just plain flat - no holes for cup holders, no slots for phones, no raised edges, and no drawers. I just needed a flat folding table. It fits and makes a solid impression. Actually, I would have preferred it to be higher to get the right angle for me, but it's just as tall as any I've looked at. I'll make it work It's very slippery which sometimes causes it to slip, but this was an easy fix, first with some sort of grippy shelf liner and then with a napkin, which I didn't use. never mind I also bought it to work sitting on the floor (or work outside while my kid is playing in the garden). I think it was a great purchase.
