Review on RHA TrueConnect Black - wireless in-ear headphones by Mateusz Jankowski ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The product is good, there are only a few minor flaws.

I listened to these headphones back in 1919, when they cost 18990. Then I really liked everything, but because of the crookedly matched ear cushions, the sound seemed extremely quiet to me. Over the course of 2 years, I listened to a bunch of different headphones: from Chinese havit and tronsmart to klipsch, sony, sennheiser and others in this price category. Every time there was something wrong. Either the sound is flat, or it is very quiet, or they do not sit in the ear. As a result, in 2022, I spat and bought AirPods 2, pulled them out with an equalizer and until now got high on sound (after all, sound is subjective! ). But the other day I noticed a discount on RHA. I bought them for 2800 (normally they dropped in price in 2 years? ) Since then, devices have changed and I can say that with the iphone 11 and the latest ipad air, no breaks were noticed, neither on the street, nor at home, nor in the office after a month of use. The sound is what makes these headphones worth buying. The feeling is that in all other headphones that I listened to, the frequency range is much narrower, although the aac codec, which most headphones use when connected to apple technology, is considered to be of better quality than sbc. The volume is just a little lacking - but in general the level is good, and the ears will be healthier) By the way, I recently listened to RHA TrueConnect 2 - high ones cut the ear, even if you unscrew them to the minus, there are no such low ones anymore, but they turned up the volume. Not a single ear pads fit (even comply (and in general, the sound guide is quite short, therefore, with the complete ear pads, which are short enough, you have to hammer the earpiece into the ear hard, because of which it starts to put a lot of pressure on the cartilage. I took longer ear pads - everything is fine . And the sound and fit. For this money, I strongly recommend it, but look and check it properly - the headphones are already 2 years old. They came to me almost at 0 discharged, but they work more than worthy, they lose 10% in an hour, which is strange, of course. But if the headphones with the case go to 0 and so lie down, you can no longer revive them.

Pros
  • Sound; headphone and case materials; set; headphone battery and case; slightly lacking volume; value 2 years after release.
Cons
  • Lack of multipoint function; there is no possibility of using headphones separately; none of the ear pads from the kit fit me; cost at launch.
