Review on Wellness Natural Food Whitefish Herring by Heather Genevish

We bought this because her favorite whitefish cat food has been out of stock for months. I tried about six similar canned fish for her and she liked this one. It smells very much like stale food, but she eats it normally. She doesn't gobble it up as greedily as her old meal. It might be hard for her to stomach: a smellier kitty box and a few farts (rare for this old girl). We use green or white utensils for their cat food. In the afternoon I noticed that she leaves little white pieces of this food behind. This worries me a little but she doesn't feel ill or show any signs of stress but we change the cat food every 4 days (four different brands/flavors). With other brands of fish I've tried, the chunks of fish were in a more natural state, she avoided real chunks of fish altogether, so maybe she's more used to 'processed' fish than natural fish. She also has very few teeth left, which is probably why she avoids bits when it comes to a safe natural product for cats. The white pieces are firmer than the fleshy part of the pie, but not rock hard and not very hard. They don't feel like bone, plastic, or fat. They also don't seem like greasy portions. IDK what to think of that. I'll stop giving it to her until I get answers. UPDATE: Hubby accidentally opened another can of these. This one seems to have even more white chunks. White chunks in other glasses were not visible on top of the food.
