Review on 🏰 Aqueon Princess Castle Aquarium Kit - 0.5 Gallon by Amy Washington

The aquarium is charming but too small even for a Betta. My warning is mostly for you, aquarium cleaners. Be prepared to change the water every few days and expect it to be gross. The water is literally cloudy and dirty on the third day. If you keep fish here, you will need to do a full water change and clean the plates at least twice a week. It was more work than I expected so I upgraded my daughter's betta to a larger bowl. Now that he's a free range fish his bettas are much more active and I only have to do a partial water change once or twice a week. I know people stuff their bettas in tiny containers all the time, but they get over-exploited. Personally I wouldn't buy it again as it's too small. But there are definitely positive aspects here too. What's good: * The castle is really pretty. * It has everything you need for your aquarium - all you need is water (well, fish of course). * Very reasonable price.
