I needed a solution for a standard car mount because the air vents on a full size 2018 Prius are vertical and my previous mount didn't work. The suction cups never suck and never work, and I don't have room on the dash (nor on a flat surface) to use the sticky mount. That's why I chose this one. And it works. Very good. It holds most S10+ with no problem. I have a popsocket like every millennial and it mounts well. It's stable and won't decide to fall out of my vent while I'm mid-ride and adjusts easily when it needs adjustment. I wasn't sure how well it would stick to the vents, but it does a great job. Definitely recommended for any vehicle with vertical air outlets. I can't vouch for the magnetic option on the mount, although I doubt the magnet will be strong enough to hold the phone and it won't fly or spin. wild, but it's great for popsocket.
