Review on 💡 GE Soft White 3-Way Bulb Duo by Karen Johnson

I was concerned that they might break in transit as they appeared fragile, but Revain bubble wrapped the bulbs well so everything arrived intact. Now the lightbulbs themselves are just awful. But honestly, I think the "three-way system" is part of the problem. Every bulb I've used to date, including these GEs, will get stuck at the same light level (usually low to medium) after a few weeks of use and the rest will just burn out. There is an important warning on these lamps to use only 3-way lamps. I think the constant "clicking" on each lighting option overuses the bulbs and they eventually break. I've tried buying lamps from other places but they all have the same problem. I think if you were using these bulbs on a fixture with a wall switch (so you don't have to keep pressing the setting you want ie 'high') they would probably last longer. I was trying to save money by buying a cheap lamp but after a few months of this nonsense I will invest more money in my floor lamp that uses regular lightbulbs.
