Funny times associated with having oral surgery during a pandemic and a trip to the kitchen for nitrous oxide and who knows why otherwise I just feel like my socks are getting soaked? Slightly confused when my pain started too, I finally noticed that water had leaked from the pipes under my kitchen sink and seeped into the bottom of the cabinet and part of the floor. on the other hand, I dropped everything that was completely wet and took the next logical step - a very long nap. After that I ordered this rug as the closet was drying out as it looked awful and I'm sure it wouldn't have been damaged as much if I had had his rug when the leak happened as the rug is thick and sturdy and the end is raised is reversed. I'm better prepared for when it leaks again and the carpet is a great addition as it looks good in gray and hides ugly chipboard stains. It's also much better as I can regularly wipe or wash away any drips or dirt that gets on the mat. In terms of size, I chose a mat that matched the inside size of the floor. Fit in place. Although I couldn't put the mat in directly due to the wooden front and center, it was very easy to put it in as the mat is flexible enough that I could tilt and bend it slightly to fit it. The carpet has arrived. no bad smell and my closet looks nice and clean inside. The rug does not cut into my closet due to the snug fit and items can be placed directly on the rug. I bought some plastic containers to fill to fit under the tubes and slide. It's more organized, looks fresher, easy to clean, and the mat offers some protection against leakage. I almost bought a cheaper rug to save money but the quality of this rug is great and should last indefinitely. Love it. 5 Stars.
