I bought this for my 9 year old and it's really tight. We barely put it on his head, and when it's put on his head it's very snug against his neck. And the material is too thin to use as a protective face mask. Although it's tight, my son has tried to pull the piece over his mouth and it just slides back when he speaks. It might be ok for very young kids who want a neck warmer or something, but it was useless for us.
