It would do the job but right out of the box there was a very strong chemical or industrial smell that I couldn't get rid of. It filled the whole room. I mean it was intense and I was fed up with how much he lingered in the room. I've tried putting it in the sun, sachets of essential oil, and misting it with Febriz, but that didn't work. I ended up breaking it up again and putting it in the washing machine to soak, which was a bad idea because I forgot the inside was most likely cardboard or something. It lost its shape and the smell was still there so I just threw it away.
