Review on Black D/STAND/A 32-55mm Door Stand Carpentry Tool for Optimal Hinge and Door Installation by Brad Schillings

I really like this door stand. It is quite durable and works well for 1 3/8 inch interior and exterior doors. in the castle and met. --It has some "play" or "flex" but it's not really that bad --- Don't push it or be careless with it though. Do not leave the door unattended while it is being supported in case someone leans against it or the like. There are 2 good rubber bumpers at the ends to fix the door to the wall. Works well. There are small rubber sticky pads on a flat metal surface that is pressed to the ground. You FAIL! So be careful with these or add something else. Maybe hot glue "bumper" to protect the machined surfaces? The stamped metal cage is a little flimsy for my taste. I'll be adding some reinforcements soon. The threaded rod puts more stress on the metal from the side of the nut than I would like. Tighten it enough that I see it as the weakest point along with the nylon threaded nut. I am satisfied with my purchase and I hope that it can be improved in the future. Hope that helps.
