Mine came with a small button on the back that appears to be an older version of the sensor. When the sensor is in the holder, it is difficult to get to. Basically, it must be installed before the final installation. The short and long beeps during tuning are a bit confusing. It has a small learning curve. Carry instructions with you if you try. Haven't figured mine out yet, but looks good when it works. The startup method, alarm, alarm type, alarm frequency, and high and low alarm points must also be set. Done with color and brightness. I just need to spend some time with it so I can pull it out to complete the sensor setup. i get what i pay for
