Then we get down to business. I'm a music lover. Audiophile: HiFi enthusiast. With that, let's talk about these little gems. I can't (personally) describe if a thing is good for the price. Price can't be subjective, but what a thing costs relative to its sound is subjective on a good day. On the contrary, if something is good, then it's good, if it's worth it, it's worth it. You, my friend, are good and worth it. Just a tad below the Koss Porta Pro price, you get the KPH30 and it works. Let's see what you get and what you can expect.1. Koss Limited Lifetime Warranty. Broken, fix it. Pretty straight forward and wonderful given the intended use of these guys. I'm pretty careful with my stuff, but if you look at the Revain headphone reviews, you'll quickly see that the number one reason most people choose a new set is 1. Damage, like one side ran out of music plays, and 2... people love to lose their stuff. Koss can't do anything with number 2, but they'll cover you with number 1, so here's what.2. Lightweight, very comfortable headphones in nice, clean, modern colors. None of those "hey steal me" calls that you get from some of the more expensive fancy glasses. If you let people listen to them, then yes, expect friends, family and co-workers who live in headphones to steal them entirely. They are really very good.3. Practical use. No, they're not really intended for working out or listening to music (at the table at least) as there will be sound leakage. You cannot use them to hide from your children or ignore your spouse. But when you play James Brown or Daft Punk or whatever, snap your fingers and make your move, they don't fall off. I have a very big head. To be honest, I've never been to Lids, New Era, Belk or anywhere else and found my size hats in the store. I always have to order. This keeps the big ears and everything else on my head without any pressure, heat or discomfort. No traces of "bandage" on head or hot spots. All-day comfort.4. Yes, I mean they are plastic. Your car has a bumper, so that doesn't mean it's cheap. Thing is, they're cheap but don't seem built for the price. Adjustment is easy and holds its place. They don't squeak, creak, flop, or do things that a "99" headphone store should have, contrary to what other people have rated. SOUND. All caps because that's number one for most people. If you've listened to a lot of headphones, in-ears, and in-ear monitors like I have, you'll understand that jumping from one particular sound to another can be annoying. If that bothers you, they sound better than Apple Earbud, OG ending in 3.5, Lightning don't sound as good or like the old ones. They sound about the same as the Sennheiser HD558 but with better bass presence. There are high frequencies that sound more deepened than swamped. It's not that they removed the highs, but brought them back so they wouldn't get tired. The bass is tight but not boomy. There is no bloated mid-bass. In fact, the mids are very well placed, not softly forward, but the music, bass and vocals alike are the stars of it. There's detail but no focus, making them more suitable for jamming or long listening sessions than critical listening. you are warm The bass is tight and heavy. The bass goes deep but not high-end, the sub-bass trembles kinda deep. I could keep spitting the descriptions out of my head, but suffice it to say this is similar to the Sennheiser HD558 but more complex. It's a warm sound with the highs muted so as not to be aggressive and fatiguing, yet detailed, the bass is good and tight enough to handle the demands of rap, dub and electronic music, but controlled enough and restrained enough to not to disturb the mids, male vocals or jazz. . In my opinion, they are suitable for listening to loud music, for relaxed listening while reading, for working, immersed in music and for making phone calls. No one could tell I was wearing a headset and not a phone without me explicitly mentioning it. They cost $30 and are quite a bit better than your standard headphones or some cheap $10 or $15 headphones. But don't think these are some super dark phones. Even more high frequency energy than V Modas or HD598cs. Not comparing, just saying you'd like every box ticked, from comfort to functionality to sound to be able to hear them all day. You are excellent. I bought these to have something alongside my in-ear headphones that would still sound good on my LG V30. I wanted to be able to take calls and hear things around me. I also wanted to get sound outdoors, both in headphones (not in the ears) and in open-back headphones. But in neat, travel-friendly or storage-friendly packaging. Whether I'm cooking, washing dishes, cleaning or just reading on my Kindle. I didn't want to have a great sound on my face that is difficult to handle after an hour. I didn't want to require saong and dance to manage the cords or put them on and off. I didn't want to keep taking hot breaks to talk to someone. They fulfilled all my wishes with sovereignty. Good luck and I hope this was at least a little helpful in your purchasing decision.
