Best Bag of the Year - Quality, Utility and Style

Best Bag of the Year? Definitely a goalkeeper. Low profile on the back, all free space inside is available. The only mundane feature is a hidden James Bond zip pocket that only fits a small plastic bottle. The main compartment is divided into three compartments, two of which are lined with microfiber. Nylon zippers and gleaming gunmetal finger grips are eye-catching details. A pocket on the side of the strap is designed for a laptop and fits snugly against your (padded) back, with a velcro strap for loading, a middle bottom-to-zip expandable pocket on top of the cave, and another velcro strap on the outside to undress. As well as that daft water bottle, there are two other external pockets, a fleece-lined top with a hole to slip a headset through if you're so inclined, and a flap that opens for the usual wallet, keys, and pens storage leaves. which I rarely use. I have this thing in my pockets! It's designed for the thinnest of laptops, and my Dell Inspiron only fits sleeveless in a seam that stretches tight. My iPad 2 in a sleeve is dangling in the opposite pocket. So a velcro strap barely reaches my "oversized" Dell laptop, while the iPad strap is as tight as it gets, dangling in my pocket. Maybe it really is for Mac computers? I will probably carry my laptop in the main compartment and use the padded laptop compartment for the power supply and cables. I put my Anker Micro Mouse in a fleece pouch. It's very stylish when filled and looks great. The only thing is that the grip between the straps is made for a smaller hand than mine. Four fingers were crumpled, so maybe three. All in all a very nice little backpack that you can also sling over your shoulder (and not look like a 7th grader) or carry as a tote bag to a meeting.
