I wish I had bought it sooner. It's worth the higher cost.

While I liked the benefit of a fully waterproof watch, the silicone strap irritated my wrist. I bought two different leather straps for $15 and $25. Both were failures. I gave up and bought this for $55. Perfect. It is save. It doesn't fall apart. It's strong and takes the abuse of my day. At night it is soft and gentle. i'm just taking a shower
