This is the first knee brace I've found for my full legs (particularly full hips). Other knee pads fit my knee circumference and upper calf, but they don't even come close to matching my wide hips. Not only can I put it on, it doesn't immediately slip off and wrap around my ankle. I need to have knee surgery, but first I need to lose weight, which is hampered by the fact that I can't move much due to knee pain. It's a vicious cycle of years of being overweight and working too many hours on the computer - I do all of this myself, I'm 100% sure. It's a superduper articulating brace that can act as an exoskeleton of sorts, but it's made of neoprene and is (barely) enough to fit around my waist.
