Review on Heritage Store Rosewater Facial Toner: Hyaluronic Acid, Tones & Refines Pores, Smooths Skin - Alcohol-Free, Vegan (8oz) by Heidi Ward

Good toner, good price

This toner is pleasant and gentle. It would be nice to see it with a spray, but it works just as well on a cotton swab or clean fingertips. The formula has a slight stickiness due to the inclusion of aloe and hyaluronic acid. (I've found that slight stickiness is associated with formulations containing about 1% or more HA.) I really prefer stickiness under makeup as it acts almost like a primer. However YMMV. I took off a star for the stickiness and lack of spray as I think that would be a negative for most users. The ingredients listed on the product description page are incorrect. Here are the actual ingredients, according to Heritage: Vor-Mag™ Water, Glycerin (vegetable), Sodium PCA, Sodium Hyaluronate (Hyaluronic Acid), Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe) Leaf Juice, Potassium Sorbate, and Damask Rose (HydroEther Rose). * Water that has been swirled and magnetized to raise the energy to higher vibrations that we find more beneficial. quickly with a spoon but I don't think it hurts. The rest of the ingredients are of good quality. It definitely left my skin firm and hydrated, and it smells nice (if you like a light floral scent - if not, why are you even reading this?). Sodium hyaluronate is the more stable, water-soluble form of the hyaluronic acid salt, so don't let "sodium" intimidate you. It's a smaller molecule that makes it easier to absorb into the skin and carries a lot of water with it. Sodium PCA is derived from plants and has emollient properties that perform a similar moisturizing function. It's in tons of food and even human skin. It helps the skin retain moisture even better than glycerin. It was the addition of glycerin, sodium PCA, and HA that helped me choose this product over the popular rosewater and glycerin I've used in the past.
