This case is very nice, and the wallet portion is very well constructed. The case does not seem as though it is designed for the phone I bought it for. The iPhone XS Max barely fits in the case (and I received the case for the XS Max) and there is ZERO protection for the front of the phone with a face drop (most cases have a raised bump around the face to protect the screen if the phone is dropped). Because of this, it doesn’t feel like the phone is securely being held in the case and it doesn’t feel like it has "locked in”. Additionally, the notch cut out for the ring silencer switch is not aligned and the case almost has to be removed to access the switch as it sits so closely to the top of the cut notch. Maybe the product I received was defective or was not produced to specs, but this just isn’t a good fit and a secure hold for this phone. It will serve functionally for the time being until I can get another case in, but I do not feel comfortable putting such an expensive phone in a case that doesn’t feel as though it will protect it while in use and being carried in day to day functions.
