I bought one of these pillows for my husband out of desperation. He had brain cancer and wears an electric grill to prevent cancer cells from dividing. Very warm. Here in Texas, the summer heat works against him, making his head sweat and water seeping into electric batteries. We've tried several pillows that claim to be "cool" but aren't. During the night he became so warm that it disturbed his sleep. When I asked for suggestions on the Facebook page, the Tempurpedic pillow was one of the suggestions that I didn't try, mainly because of the price. I took the plunge, made an investment and couldn't be happier. It is a supportive yet soft pillow. And the cooling gel is really cool. When it gets warmer at night, we simply turn the pillow over when he gets up to change the array battery, and when he lies back down, he breathes a sigh of relief!
