My teenage son was recommended to wear arched slippers around the house to help with plantar fasciitis. He has very wide feet which I think would make it difficult to find a mate. I bought him a few to try and he liked these best. I ordered a half size and a full size up. He ended up getting a full size up so he could wear them more comfortably with socks. So far he has found them to be very comfortable and supportive. This style was also more acceptable to him than what he felt could make him "look like a grandfather".
