I ordered this because I thought it might be something special. It seems that this is just an expensive edible mineral oil. You can typically get a 16-ounce bottle locally for less than $4, with tops at around $8 for the same amount. This product costs around $14 and costs significantly more. Food grade mineral oil has many uses, but we typically use it to treat wooden utensils, cutting boards, and even kitchen cabinets and countertops. It glides on easily like most oils and is odorless and doesn't harden. I cannot determine if there are any benefits to this product. because it is no different from commercially available food grade mineral oil. I am rating this oil 3 stars because it is a mineral oil and does the same job. As always, your mileage and preferences may vary.
