Price. for cardboard. very repulsive. However, in relation to the price, the behavior of cats is very impressive. I have had cats for 35 years, never have I been so sad to have to scratch furniture. I give them options (two, except my sister and brother) to no avail. I've tried duct tape, smelly, expensive specialty sprays with limited success. FAKE SNAKE (they thought they were the most miserable toys). I have scratching posts, I've spent three times as much, I've never touched them. $80 for a box is a shame and just out of hopelessness lol/cry. A cat has been on it all along since purchase, never scratched the sofa. Looks pretty cool, if I had wall space I'd hang it all the way up. I have a heater downstairs as is AND THEY LOVE IT. AND I LOVE! Insanely expensive in the long run, is it worth it? DEFINITELY!
