I have tested this headset on PC, XB1, PS4 and Switch. They are great for gaming sound, which is their main purpose, the field is clean, clear and adds great nuance to immersive gameplay. The PC and XB1 are definitely the shining stars here, as the inclusion of surround sound (especially with audio and atmos) takes it to the next level. The PS4 and Switch also sound great, but they don't have the same soundstage as the previous two. The comfort is phenomenal and I, like myself, recommend ordering the layered fabric earpads on the company's website if you prefer fabric-based earpads. The battery life is around 18 hours, if not a little more. As said, the sound is fantastic for gameplay, great for movies but not so good for music (very good but not perfect). Another feature worth mentioning is the microphone monitor, which works fantastically and allows you to keep your speaking volume at a reasonable level. As a gamer who has been playing games for over forty years, I can confidently recommend this headset to friends. Update (10/1/2019): The headphones are still phenomenal and I cannot recommend them highly enough. You need to get your Xbox audio settings right for the sound to be great (I still recommend using Atmos). I see some people complaining about using a chat cable on the Xbox1 but it is clearly stated that you must do this and if your primary console is an Xbox1 then buy the LS35X which is specifically designed for that system was developed and does not require a chat cable. . Also, don't try to twist the cups too much as they are only meant for easy adjustment, not a flat fit around the neck.
