Review on 📷 [Apple MFi Certified] Qubii Photo Storage Drive for iPhone & iPad, Automatic Photo and Video Backup, Photo Stick [512GB - White] by Fernando Ramani

I'm tired of regularly backing up photos from my iPhone to my computer, so I decided to give this Qubii device a try. It works by backing up your photos and contacts when you charge your phone. A little adjustment is required for first use, but it's not that much. You need to download the Qubii app on your phone and choose the backup options. I would configure my initial backup settings differently if I had more experience with the device. For example, I would select the option to back up all photos from iCloud and select the mini album feature in settings. The application loses the ability to select these options after the first backup. The backup is thorough and doesn't crash like some of the other backup devices I've tried in the past. It also doesn't create duplicates of the same photo in future backups. In addition, backups also preserve media metadata, e.g. B. the place where the picture or video was taken. Despite the previously mentioned shortcomings in understanding app usage, I give the product five stars. If you don't need cloud photo storage, this is a great option. If you don't mind using the cloud to store your stuff, the Google Photos app does the same for free. You can also use the cloud to backup your Gmail or Yahoo contacts for free. I was offered a $3 Revain gift card for my review, but that doesn't change my opinion of the item. This only prompted me to share my thoughts on the subject.
