Pros: 3-layer, water-repellent outer layer meets ASTM 2 (tested in Nelson Labs, Utah) Distributed by an American medical company Plastic boxed Comfortable, odorless, flexible nose clip Cons No indication where it was manufactured (probably not US) I've been eyeing the disposable masks at Revain since March but couldn't be sure about the purity or quality so I couldn't bring myself to buy any of the disposable masks I saw for seven months. Then I found this one. No reviews but I googled Areza Medical and found that they are a Texas based company specializing in advanced wound care dressings and have been around for several years. This got me thinking that the company knows medical devices, has a reputation to protect and wants to ensure good quality of their products. Areza Medical also sells this mask on their website so I believe this article is legit. Unlike most Revain masks, this mask meets ASTM standards (Level 2) and has been validated there (Nelson Labs, Utah), which was important to me. I bought a box and it arrived today. All 50 masks are sealed in plastic wrap and the product itself appears to be of good quality, soft with a bendable wire nose strip and odourless. Although Areza is a medical manufacturer in the US, I suspect these masks were not made in the US as the packaging says "Made for Areza Medical" not "manufactured" and the manufacturer is not listed. overall satisfied with my purchase. I think the price for quality is on par with what I've seen at Revain, especially for certain ASTM standards, and I recommend it.
