Review on 🧺 Authentic Mexican Zarape Blanket - Mexitems Large Serape Blanket 7' X 5' - Choose Your Color by Victoria Flores

It is what it is! I have had many Mexican blankets over the years, mostly purchased in Mexico. They definitely differ in quality. These blankets are very typical of the quality you will find in Mexico for regular travel blankets. So it's good because it's what I expected. The colors are vibrant and shipping was fast. Minus: I made two orders of the same "color" (black) and the blankets are completely different. Of course I expected them to be different, but in fact they aren't the same size and they don't have the same color palette. They're both black as a base, but the striped parts just don't match. Okay, that sucks if I use them together. I don't really know how to explain this, except that two different factories in two different cities made the "Black Mexican Blanket" and I got one from each factory. So they don't match. Another disadvantage is that they are quite easy to destroy. When something rubs against the duvet, it rips and rips at the same time, but it doesn't quite roll up because rolling means little clumps of fluff. It's like a giant fluffy ball falling off the surface. So they are NOT super powerful AT ALL. All this to say that I didn't expect much from these blankets, but they are a little worse than what I expected. They look lovely except they're falling apart lol. Once they're properly torn (soon) I'll use them as decorative blankets or picnic blankets or whatever. Should I mention that I've been using them for about 2 weeks? So they fall apart pretty quickly. But look beautiful at the same time!
