I am 5ft 9" and ordered 2xl. The jacket is quite tight, not very loose and rather short. The outer material is quite soft, but not as soft as I expected. He's definitely warm. is on the top of the collar, so it would be fun to wear in cold weather. I would order a size up if you want a looser fit.
