My chihuahua was losing teeth as it got older so I switched him to a soft food. It had high reviews and is a well known brand so I took it at face value. For two months he would not eat it unless he was very hungry. They took him to the vet and diagnosed him with diabetes. Only then did we come up with the idea of looking at the list of ingredients. HFCS is way too high on the list. We supported him with better nutrition and two insulin shots a day for most of the year. But in the end his quality of life deteriorated and we had to do a good deed. rest in peace friend I'm sorry I gave you this food. I killed you by trusting a big brand to have healthy ingredients.
