In the late 90's my friends and I bought 100 packs of these Cyalume lightsticks and were shocked to learn that people were willing to pay $20 for ONE of these Cyalume lightsticks priced at a to pay rave if they are sold out in a night. Now that I'm an adult, the fun never ends with these things. And of course my kids love glowsticks, but the ones sold for dollars aren't as bright and don't last as long. They are AMAZING for babies and baths. It's very safe: the baby can chew on the plastic (not that it's recommended) and it won't tear the inside as the case is totally waterproof and thick. I remember that the greens and blues will shine all night (they're all intense for the first hour or so) and they still have some shine left. Keep them in your car, especially the white/yellow/orange ones. Ideal for additional lighting as well as emergency lighting. Because you don't have to worry about them catching fire or going bad soon, they can be stored anywhere. I had to buy a second pack to write this review! By the way, the price is still about the same as when I bought it almost 20 years ago (ugh, I feel old). Back then, a Cylaume lightstick cost about $1.
