Well worth the assembly time
I bought two identical bookshelves at the same time to give our house more storage space and this one was by far the best purchase. The parts are solid and the design ensures a secure fit against the wall. It did take a while to build due to the many screws and lack of pre-drilled holes, but I didn't mind as it made the finished part much sturdier. I converted a 6-shelf bookcase into two (one 4-shelf and one 2-shelf) depending on the space I needed by buying extra tubing from the hardware store. In general very satisfied.
