Definitely recommended, the cameras are excellent, the minuses are half small

these cameras are amazing. The video quality is excellent as the viewing angles are amazing. You may not think you are in the camera's field of view when you are. It's pretty good, although there's always some noise, like noise. The biggest advantage of Nest cameras is their software, although that can also be their biggest disadvantage. The Nest app works great and gives you the ability to customize each camera's settings. If you want to temporarily disable a camera, just click the toggle in Settings. Want a video but no sound? The same thing. Do you want notifications? No problem. You can even choose which camera you want to be notified about, how, and in what situations. You may have notification indicators when the camera is on or someone is watching a channel. CONS: There are a few cons. First, they don't work independently of the Nest app. You cannot connect it to a hard drive or other storage device. This must be done through the Nest app. This leads to the second problem. The second problem is that the Nest app is technically free, but it doesn't save the video for you, so you basically have to watch it live. Of course, in order for Nest to save your history, you must subscribe to EVERY camera. There are two options: Nest saves your data for 10 days, the other for 30 days. Not sure what the prices are for 30 days but for the 10 day option if I remember correctly (it's paid for automatically so it's been a while) it's $10 for the first camera and $5 for the camera afterwards. It costs $20 for 3 cameras (10-day story option), $30 for 5 cameras. Not a terrible price to be honest, but I would have preferred a really "free" option after buying actual cameras that aren't that cheap.
