If it doesn't turn itself off, it's doing what it's supposed to. It will take several attempts to check the weight of your baggage. After turning it on and waiting for zero, it will turn itself off when you lift your luggage. Multiple attempts are required for each baggage weight. I thought the battery was old and replaced it with a new battery, same result. Don't waste your money on this, that's nonsense.
