I bought the clear and the black and opened the clear which is quite matte. I did not connect it to my keyboard and will not connect it. hicks. Overall, it feels a little stiffer than the Mosiso's lid, and the keystroke depth is a little deeper than my last Mosiso (good thing it's non-slip). But I'm confused why the function keys (F) are not included in the cover? I understand Touch ID isn't covered, but the function keys should be. If I had known, I would have ordered differently. FWIW, the tab on the left that closes the ESC key is larger than a key, another aspect of the design I don't understand.
