Do not buy if you have carpal tunnel.
Great idea, pretty good quality. You have to make bigger the parts you use to squeeze, they hurt your fingertips. The more thread on the spool, the more difficult it is to open it wide. If you can't see the thread and don't attach the clip correctly, the thread will still unwind halfway. My fingers and hands hurt trying to open it up for use, I have a tender carpal tunnel and these clamps didn't help. If you have a really bad CT, don't buy it. But if you have really strong fingers and hands, buy them.
