It's impossible to get rid of the clutter on the kitchen table in our home, so I try to keep it as unobtrusive as possible. I hate leaving retail packaging unattended (labels get dirty and tear in humid environments). There are under-counter dispensers and attractive soap or lotion pumps, but I still had a neon-colored plastic jar of sanitizing wipes with a crumpled label by the sink. This unit is very well made (usually excellent Kohler quality), sleek and clean, and contains a 35-sheet plastic canister with tissues, canister and all. Simply remove the canister cap, open the dispenser cap and insert the canister! Thread the first handkerchief through the lid and you're done. Easy to keep clean; Dirt and splashes are wiped off immediately. Since the plastic canister is placed inside, only the inside needs to be cleaned from time to time, which is also easy to do. It looks great next to the sink - no ugly labels or flashy product logos to be seen. The lid has a button to open and closes easily with latches. The only potential downside is that it's about 30% larger than a plastic canister, so not small, but the larger size and weight give it extra strength. It looks beautiful and no one has thrown it in the sink yet. :) For me this is a win! Highly recommended.
