I always wear running shoes for support as I have arthritis in my feet. They are light, have good support and I always trust the New Balance brand. The only thing I don't like is that the strings loosen more often (they are smooth and always stretch when I tighten them). But nothing special; I can change the laces. **Update: While I was initially so excited about these supportive shoes, after only 5 weeks of daily wear they had a hole in the mesh and frayed at the heel. Then by week 10 they hurt me because they were already worn out. Here I am in week 11 and already had to buy new tennis shoes. Ridiculous! Stars reduced to 3. Disappointing.**
