Review on 📻 Randy FCC Handheld or Mobile CB Radio with Weather Channel, Alerts, and Enhanced Searchability by Toki Louton

My first impression of the radio was good, it's solid and well made. The radio itself is packed with great features! Now for the not-so-great stuff: The full cell phone kit that comes with the President Randy III in the EU version is NOT included in the US FCC version. This makes mobile operation much more inconvenient as the antenna's coaxial cable comes out of the top of the radio right in your face. The EU version cell phone kit adapter has a long coaxial connector that comes out from the bottom of the adapter along with a 12V power cord. The US FCC version only has a charging adapter, the EU version comes with a cell phone adapter and a charging adapter. Another not so good thing is that the battery is internal and not quick to replace, in fact there doesn't seem to be anywhere to buy batteries for this radio, including the President's website. I really hope there will be extra batteries and charger adapters in the future, if you break or lose the charger adapter box that plugs into the bottom of the radio the radio will become completely useless! UPDATE 1: I contacted the President and they said that a battery replacement for Randy FCC should be available sometime in late July. They also said that the mobile kit that comes with the Randy III EU version doesn't work with the Randy FCC, they didn't explain why it wouldn't work. Pity! UPDATE 2: I've noticed that the battery doesn't seem to last very long even without a transfer. I only get 4 or 5 hours on battery. Very disappointing.
