I was specifically looking for a slim profile lamp for my office bookshelf that would give off a warm glow and not the harsh bright daylight of some LEDs. I returned another brand advertised as 'warm' and closer to 'daylight'. This set is really warm light. The remote control lets you fine-tune the intensity as an added bonus. Installation and operation was easy and the black wiring helps hide the wire as the bookshelf is made of wood. This product is also well priced and I look forward to many years of enjoyment.
