Review on Ultimate Protection: Progressive Multifocal Reading Glasses with Blue Light Blocking for Computer Use by Tom Timmer

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Swing and MISS! in reading glasses

I gave these 3 stars because the glasses work but are well constructed, come with a nice case and reduce blue light from the iPad. Disappointment arose from the lack of information that could help the buyer understand which multifocal power to choose. I have a recipe that says how much strength I need, but this hasn't translated into information I should have picked when making my decision on the website. I went with what I thought would work, but the other focus planes didn't match up as expected. Turns out my wife tried them on and the power I ended up having worked for her so we're keeping it for her. For me it was a swing and a miss! All in all, I advise anyone considering buying them to realize 2 things. 1. It looks like the gauge you are ordering has a small cut at the top of the rim. I don't understand where and what strength the multifocal part comes from. 2. If they don't provide clear and simple information on how to find out which power points are right for you and how to get points, you might not want to order this online. Retail store With samples and a person explaining would be better. I would have returned them but my wife said she would use them.
