These were my daughter's first pair of running shoes when she was about 1 year old. She loves them and gives us all the time to dress her so she can walk outside. They only start to wear out after 5 months of frequent use, but they are still functional even then. She's plump and the shoes don't seem uncomfortable to her. The only downside is that they get wet quickly when hiking through mud, but I really don't expect more from toddler shoes at this price.
