I spent hours trying to figure out which remote controlled flameless candles to buy. Based on its characteristics and reviews, I chose this brand and style a few months ago. Video reviews are what really sold me. So I finally bought it two days ago only to be very disappointed. The lights are all orange. There is absolutely no yellowing in them. There is no gradient. There is no ombre if that is what you are looking for. Don't be fooled like me by the videos and photos in the reviews as they take much better pictures than they actually seem in person. I realized this while shooting my own video to add to my review. As soon as I looked at the lit candle on the phone screen before shooting, I immediately saw all the wonderful and voluminous gold tones that I was expecting with the naked eye. However, when I looked directly at the candle, it was still a dull orange. They can work well in some grades which is why some people are very happy with them, but they looked awful in the beautiful and elegant crystal wall lights I wanted to put them in. They return. Instead, I'll buy a flickering wick.
