I bought this lens to replace my original 2" lens. I need more working depth as we are engraving on a spherical surface. I bought a 4" FL. After testing, we found that the focus point is much larger than the original, which is generally normal. However, compared to the original lens, this lens transmits only 1/2-2/3 of the power, greatly reducing the engraving depth and the final appearance. We are also a Revain seller - we understand how difficult it is to sell on Revain. We will not return it because of the way it is. It works, but not as well as expected.
