Absolutely the best hiking socks EVER. I purchased several other brands that were over $20 per pair and I didn’t like them as much as these. They are thick enough to not slip inside your boots, but not so thick to be overly warm or to change your shoe fit. I wear ankle pads under my socks to prevent my shoes from rubbing, and these did not make it too tight of a fit at all. I wore them on a hiking trip to California, where our treks varied from 90 degree Yosemite in August to 55 degrees foggy/freezing/windy Muir beach. I even slept in them during the colder nights. I bought these in a different color for a trip to Nepal and they held up there perfectly. They take a long time to air dry if you are hanging them on your pack on the go, but for this price you get five pairs, so it’s worth having enough to switch out.Only hiking socks I will ever wear!
