I have an old version of this charger for my 2004 Yamaha R6 and bought this model to use with my newly purchased 2014 Kawasaki Ninja 300 track bike. As with the previous model, the installation of the quick connector is very simple. Remove the battery terminals, replace the quick-disconnect ring terminals, replace the terminal screws, route the quick-disconnect cable to the desired location, and connect the charger to it. Voila! It will now charge your battery and when fully charged it will switch to "storage mode" to continuously charge your battery and keep it at 100% during the winter months. Buy it.
