We got these for gardening and my eight-year-old daughter loves the color for the garden, she really finds the handles helpful with pulling on her boots, they stay on well and fit well. They are true to size but we did order one size up so she could grow into them and her big toe is dramatically better than the other toes. Very good quality and sturdy. Definitely can see these for her rain boots as well.
